We reckon Rosalie Baptist is located in Brisbane’s best suburb. Tree-lined streets and a warm, friendly village atmosphere typify the Paddington/Rosalie community. It doesn’t take long to realise you are in a special part of our city with iconic Brisbane landmarks just about everywhere you look. Government House is just up the road and we are not far from Caxton Street, the famous brewery and the Lang Park precinct; home of NRL, Rugby Union, A-League and huge stadium concerts.
The church is just on the fringe of the delightful Rosalie Village with its award winning restaurants, boutique shopping and the Gourmet Market just a short stroll down Nash Street from the church. This classic cluster of shops was voted in the top 3 gourmet strips in Brisbane by the Courier Mail and features cuisines from all over the world. There are almost too many options to choose from: Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese, Modern Australian, Italian, Mexican, Indian and Thai along with Aussie favourites like Grill’d, fish & chips and the local bakery.
In the Village there is also a great little community kindergarten, Milton State School and Gregory Park; making Rosalie one of Brisbane’s most sought after suburbs. It seems there is always something happening in the Village so it is a great place to meet friends and grab a bite or a coffee.
