New Life this Easter
I don’t know about you but sometimes I am reminded about just how tough life is. Whether it is through sickness, disappointment, trial or just the groans of my ageing body there are certainly times when life seems dry and broken.
Easter is the time of year we reflect on the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. But at the very heart of this commemoration is the stunning reality that God has made a way for us to have new life and hope for an end to our brokenness.
While the story of Jesus seems to come to a tragic end at the cross on Good Friday, the reality of the empty tomb on Easter Sunday morning sees death and brokenness give way to victory.
Perhaps this Easter is a chance for you to investigate God’s offer of new life and what it might mean for you. Everyone is welcome to join us across the weekend as we look at what is the most beautiful and glorious hope we have because of Jesus Christ.
